Name of the Course : Certificate Course on Fine Arts and Crafts.
Duration : From 04/ 07/ 2023 to 21/07/2023
Objectives : To
- Understand the value of Art and develop aesthetic sense through the course.
- Create their own works of art using varieties of methods and materials available at the local level.
- Participate in art related exhibitions and shows.
- Teach fine arts and crafts to school students.
- Motivate them as an arts entrepreneur.
Execution :
Department of Education conducted a certificate course on Fine arts and crafts to promote artistic and aesthetic sense, and to encourage their creativity through visual arts. Dr. Neena Rathi a renowned Fine arts teacher was the resource person of the course. Dr. Rathi has conducted many workshops on fine arts in Government and Private colleges of Chhattisgarh region. The course provided an outlet for our trainees to express their emotions and be creative. Participants received hands on experience on various forms of art like POP/Clay Art, Flower Making, Eco friendly Paper Art and mother art related to local communities. The fine art course was an inspirational to our teacher trainees to spur their feelings and imaginations and also to improve their creative abilities.
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course, participants are able to:
- Appreciate different art forms with special reference to local/ community art and inculcate the values among school students.
- Design activities based on the different forms of art and in accordance to the interest of students.
- Nurture the creativity of school students by organizing art exhibitions in schools, motivating the school students to participate in activities at national and global level.
